RAL kleurenkaart - industrie kleurenstandaard

RAL-kleursysteem is het antwoord van de industrie op wat Pantone is in textiel en grafisch gebruik.
In de industrie zie je vaak op bv. bouwmaterialen kleuren gegeven in een RALcode.

De meest gebruikte RAL kleurenkaart is hun K7. Het bestaat uit 210 kleuren, die worden geleverd in een compacte kleine kleurenkaart (kleurenwaaier) en een grotere versie met een bladzijde voor elke kleur, zodat u ze goed kunt zien en beoordelen.
Daarnaast is er ook RAL D2 waaier, die bedoeld is voor algemene ontwerpdoeleinden en 1.625 kleuren bevat, gedrukt op halfmat papier. Wat moet u doen

als u met RAL en Pantone samen aan een project wilt werken? U kunt niet

rechtstreeks omzetten tussen RAL en Pantone, aangezien het twee verschillende kleursystemen zijn, maar er zijn twee manieren waarop je ermee kunt werken als workaround.
1. U kunt natuurlijk de kleuren van de twee ventilatoren vergelijken. Dan maak je een visuele vergelijking.
2. U kunt een Pantone Capsure-instrument gebruiken om de dichtstbijzijnde Pantone-kleur te vinden door een meting te doen in RAL de kleurenkaart.
